Skyward | Brandon Sanderson

This book has an amazing sense of emotion! Spensa, the main character, is dragged down by her history, but strong willed and hoping to change it. Claim the stars. It's wonderful to feel the strong emotions as she goes through a rough experience at flight school. I'm just over halfway done, and hoping to finish it soon.
I would recommend this to anyone who enjoys sci-fi and want a character in the book to relate to

I just started this book yesterday, but I am already blown away by the amount of detail went in to the beginning. The plot set me up with a mysterious setting, which left many unanswered questions running through my head. It's crazy how much I already love this book. Super excited to read more.

This book Started out like the last two. everything seemed like Sophie's life was looking OK. I was reading before bed last night (I probably stayed up to late 😅) And I went to bed crying tears of pure anger. I am so mad at the councilors! How could they do that to poor Sophie? to be honest, all that is keeping from flinging this book halfway across the world, is The amazing character Keefe. Why you gotta be so mean to your characters Messenger?

It's nice to see that Karana has made some friends, and even though she couldn't exactly talk to them, she had ways to communicate. Karana is such a strong character, and she leaves impact on me. She makes me want to be as strong as her.

This book is really sad to be honest. The main character Karana has been living alone for an immensely long time. I try to place myself in her shoes but it's hard. she has lost her family, her brother is killed by a ferocious dogs, and she is handling it to the best of her abilities. The memories of ones who are gone makes her stomach turn, and eventually she burns her village to the ground, starting over. It's a rather interesting book.

I LOVE THIS BOOK! after reading Harry Potter (a very long time ago) I had been mega struggling to find a book that awesome, one that I would willingly sit down and enjoy its company. It has an amazing plot that will throw you for an amazing roller coaster ride. the characters are so well written, and I definitely feel for Sophie.
Hands down 100/10 book.

MrsBabki I love that you find something new that gets you that excited! Awesome! 2y

This book is by far one of the best books I have ever read. It is the perfect sequel to the hunger games and I love how the author manages all her sentences. It has just the right amount of description, perfect and fitting dialogue, and overall a fantastic book. Dystopian fiction is amazing. I would recommend this to loads of people.

MrsBabki Excellent post. Capitalize and italicize titles of books. 2y

Keeper of the Lost Cities | Shannon Messenger

I have started reading Keeper of the Lost Cities, and I already love it! The hardships that the main character Sophie has to go through is so... heart wrenching and so interesting all at the same time. Sophie is just a humans girl living among other humans. She has massive headaches all the time. She tries to block them out with music and other things but the key to stopping them is realizing that she isn't human! I can't wait to keep reading it!
